Patna: A series of cryptic social media posts by Jyoti Singh, the wife of singer-actor Pawan Singh, has reignited public attention on the couple’s ongoing marital dispute and pending divorce proceedings.

Jyoti Singh, who is currently involved in court proceedings with Pawan Singh, shared two consecutive Instagram status updates that users online have widely interpreted as indirect references to her husband, although she did not name him.

In her first post, she wrote: “It is not necessary for a woman to explicitly curse you… the anguish within her heart alone is sufficient to bring about your ruin.” In a second post, she added: “Is there anything worse than death? A woman’s curse.”

The posts quickly circulated on social media, prompting speculation and debate among fans and followers, many of whom linked the comments to the ongoing legal and personal conflict between the couple.

The divorce case between Jyoti Singh and Pawan Singh remains pending before the court. While Pawan Singh has reportedly sought dissolution of the marriage, Jyoti Singh has previously stated that she remains open to reconciliation.

The dispute has also been accompanied by wider controversy, including earlier reports regarding a Rs 10 crore alimony demand, which contributed to heightened public scrutiny. Jyoti Singh later addressed aspects of these claims in interviews, disputing or clarifying parts of the online narrative.

In earlier comments to the media, Jyoti Singh made a series of allegations about her marriage, claiming that Pawan Singh preferred a partner who would not question or resist abusive behaviour. She also said the marriage had been the “biggest regret” of her life and suggested she had no intention of remarrying.

She further urged that if Pawan Singh were to marry again in future, he should take responsibility to ensure he does not negatively affect another woman’s life. She also alleged that other women had been affected in the past, though she did not provide specific details.

As of now, Pawan Singh has not issued any public response to the latest social media posts or the renewed allegations.
