Patna: Bihar government has transferred 23 IAS officers in another administrative reshuffle, with changes made to the posts of Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and municipal commissioner across several districts.
The General Administration Department issued the transfer notification late on Saturday night. The list includes officers from the 2022 and 2023 batches as well as trainee IAS officers from the 2024 batch.
Changes in DDC and municipal posts
Shreya Shree has been appointed DDC of Khagaria, while Garima Lohia, formerly SDO of Barh, has been appointed commissioner of Darbhanga Municipal Corporation.
Aniruddh Pandey, SDO of Danapur, will take charge as commissioner of Purnia Municipal Corporation. Tushar Kumar, SDO of Purnia, has been appointed DDC of Madhubani.
Pradhuman Singh Yadav, SDO of Katihar, has been appointed director in the Industries Department, where he will head the Directorate of Food Processing.
Akanksha Anand, SDO of Muzaffarpur West, has been appointed DDC of Sasaram, while Anjali Sharma, SDO of Areraj in East Champaran, has been appointed director in the Social Welfare Department.
Rohit Kardam, SDO of Naugachia, has been appointed DDC of Jamui. The notification details provided also name Shipra Vijaykumar Chaudhary as DDC of Jamui.
Neha Kumari has been appointed DDC of Katihar.
New assignments for senior administrative posts
Krishna Chandra Gupta of Bhagalpur has been appointed Inspector General in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department.
Virupaksh Vikram Singh has been appointed SDO of Danapur, while Priya Rani will take charge as SDO of Sasaram.
Krishna Joshi has been appointed SDO of Barh, Prem Kumar SDO of Haveli Kharagpur, and Syed Adil Mohsin SDO of Marhaura.
Ajay Yadav has been appointed SDO of Begusarai, Suraj Kumar SDO of Katihar and Vignesh TA SDO of Purnia.
Jatin Kumar has been appointed SDO of Sherghati in Gaya district.
Several new SDOs appointed
Parikshit has been appointed SDO of Naugachia in Bhagalpur, while Mahesh Kumar will serve as SDO of Tarapur in Munger. Kashish Bakshi has been appointed SDO of Patna City. The officers have been directed to assume their respective new postings soon.
