Patna: The Central Selection Board of Constable Recruitment (CSBC) has released the written examination results for three Bihar Police constable recruitment drives. A total of 27,969 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process against 5,312 vacancies.
Candidates who appeared for the examinations can check their results and further selection details on the official CSBC website.
21,749 Candidates Qualify for 4,236 Posts
For recruitment to 4,236 posts of Prohibition Constable, Jail Warder and Mobile Squad Constable, the board received 11,04,473 valid applications.
Of these, 5,34,735 candidates appeared for the written examination held on June 14 and 17. Following the examination, 80 candidates were disqualified over malpractice or FIR-related cases.
A total of 21,749 candidates have now been shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), including:
- 14,092 men
- 7,642 women
- 15 transgender candidates
Constable Operator Result for 993 Posts
The written examination result has also been declared for 993 Constable Operator posts under the Bihar Police Telecommunication and Technical Non-Gazetted Cadre.
The recruitment received 2,82,823 valid applications, while 1,28,482 candidates appeared for the examination conducted on June 28.
Twenty-eight candidates were disqualified following malpractice or FIR-related cases. Subsequently, 5,966 candidates have qualified for the PET, comprising 3,707 men, 2,258 women and one transgender candidate.
Special Branch Constable Result Announced
CSBC has also released the result for the recruitment examination for 83 Constable posts in the Bihar Police Special Branch.
The recruitment received 2,24,429 valid applications, with around 64,000 candidates appearing for both papers of the written examination held on June 24.
Three candidates were disqualified due to malpractice. Following the result, 254 candidates have been shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test (PST), including 160 men and 94 women.

The next stage of the recruitment process will involve physical tests for the candidates shortlisted from the respective examinations.
