Patna: The Bihar government has transferred 18 officers of the Bihar Revenue Service and issued fresh postings across various districts and sub-divisions in an effort to strengthen administrative functioning. A notification in this regard was released by the General Administration Department on Saturday.
The reshuffle includes the posting of officers as Sub-divisional Revenue Officers (SROs) in key administrative units across the state.
Postings in Multiple Districts
According to the official order, Bhaskar has been appointed as SRO for Manjhaul, Lalit Kumar Singh for Bakhri, and Rakesh Ranjan for Pakri Dayal.
Ajit Kumar has been posted to Forbesganj, Santosh Kumar Suman to Neemchak Bathani, and Ranjit Kumar to Katihar as part of the new assignments.
Assignments in Seemanchal and Mithilanchal
In the Seemanchal and Mithilanchal regions, Vikram Bhaskar Jha has been posted to Tarapur, while Praveen Kumar Pandey has been assigned to the Jaynagar sub-division.
Kaushar Imam has been appointed SRO for Rajauli, Sujit Suman for Banmankhi, and Nilesh Kumar for Dehri-on-Sone.
Transfers in Other Sub-divisions
Further changes include Vinay Kumar being assigned to Shivhar and Ravi Ranjan Sinha to Belsand.
Mrityunjay Kumar has been posted to Birpur, Sudhanshu Shekhar to Mahnar, and Rajiv Kumar to the Ballia sub-division.
Haveli Kharagpur Posting
As per the notification issued by the General Administration Department, Halendra Kumar Singh has been appointed as SRO for Haveli Kharagpur.
The government said the transfers are aimed at improving administrative efficiency and ensuring quicker disposal of revenue-related matters across the state.
