Bhojpur: Police in Bihar have launched an investigation after a schoolboy was allegedly beaten, locked in a room, and subjected to rape by two minors. The incident reportedly occurred in the Ara area of Bhojpur district.
According to reports, the two accused, who are neighbours of the victim, allegedly took the boy to a room on Tuesday afternoon after he returned home from school and went out to play. There, he was allegedly beaten before being subjected to the assault. The two alleged perpetrators then fled the scene.
The case came to light on Wednesday, prompting the police to initiate an investigation. The victim has undergone a medical examination, and his statement has been recorded. An FIR has been registered against the two named minors based on the boy’s account.
Police are currently conducting raids to apprehend the accused.
