Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released tentative dates for the main examination of its 71st Combined Competitive Examination. The written test, for candidates who cleared the preliminary round, is scheduled to take place from April 25 to 30.
A total of 14,261 candidates are expected to appear. Of these, 13,368 qualified for administrative posts and 893 for financial administrative officer positions. The preliminary examination, whose results were announced on November 18, saw 316,762 candidates appear out of 471,012 applications.
The commission has noted that the detailed examination schedule will be published at a later date.
Meanwhile, the BPSC has also issued interview call letters for the first phase of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination. Interviews will be conducted between January 21 and February 28 at the commission’s office on Nehru Path (Bailey Road), Patna. Candidates can download their call letters from January 15 via the official BPSC website.
