Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an important notice for candidates appearing in the Assistant Environmental Scientist recruitment examination and the Stenographer recruitment examination in 2026. The Commission has uploaded exam centre details on candidates’ dashboards and advised them to check all information carefully before the examination.
Admit Cards Already Available
According to the Commission, e-admit cards for both examinations have already been issued. Candidates can download them by logging into the official BPSC website and visiting the ‘My Account’ section.
Officials have urged applicants to verify all details, including exam centre information, well in advance to avoid last-minute issues on the examination day.
Mandatory Extra Copy of Admit Card
BPSC has instructed all candidates to carry an additional printed copy of their admit card to the examination centre. This copy will be collected by the invigilator during the exam.
The Commission has warned that failure to bring the extra copy may lead to avoidable difficulties during entry and verification.
Barcode and Print Quality Verification
The Commission has advised candidates to ensure that the barcode and roll number printed on the admit card are clear and readable. In cases where the printout is blurred or incomplete, candidates must generate a fresh copy.
Officials noted that unclear barcodes may cause issues during identity verification at the examination centre.
Guidelines for Blurred Photographs and Signatures
Candidates whose uploaded photographs or signatures appear unclear in the application form must download the ‘Declaration Form’ from the official website.
They are required to fill it out, attach a colour photograph attested by a gazetted officer, and sign in both Hindi and English. Candidates must also carry two additional attested colour photographs for verification purposes.
One photograph will be affixed to the admit card, while the second will be attached to the office copy in the presence of the centre superintendent.
Mandatory Identity Verification
BPSC has reiterated that entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without valid original identity proof. Candidates must carry the same ID submitted during the application process, such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or driving licence.
Entry will be allowed only after completion of document verification, photo authentication, and physical identity checks at the centre.
Stenographer Exam Schedule
As per the official schedule, the Stenographer recruitment examination will be conducted on June 11, 2026, in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM.
The Commission has advised candidates to reach the examination centre well in advance to complete all verification procedures on time and avoid delays.
