BPSC TRE 4.0 Registration to Begin on September 1 for 32,388 Bihar Teacher Posts; Check Eligibility and Application Process

The Bihar Public Service Commission has notified 32,388 vacancies for teachers in government schools across primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary levels.

Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will begin the online application process for the fourth phase of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4.0) on September 1, 2026.

The recruitment drive, notified under Advertisement No. 14/2026, aims to fill 32,388 vacant teacher posts in government schools across Bihar.

The Commission issued the detailed recruitment notification on August 18, 2026. The vacancies cover teachers for primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary classes.

Key Dates For TRE 4.0

Eligible candidates can apply through the official BPSC website from September 1.

  • Online applications begin: September 1, 2026
  • Last date for fee payment: September 29, 2026
  • Last date to submit application: September 30, 2026

The recruitment covers teaching posts for Classes 1-5, Classes 6-8, Classes 9-10 and Classes 11-12.

The Bihar Education Department has also clarified that candidates who qualified the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 will be eligible to participate in TRE 4.0, subject to the applicable recruitment requirements.

How To Apply For BPSC TRE 4.0

Candidates can complete the application process through the official BPSC portal.

  1. Visit the BPSC official website.
  2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process, if not already registered.
  3. Create or update the profile by linking the DigiLocker account and entering the required personal and educational details.
  4. Go to the New Application section and select the BPSC TRE 4.0 application link.
  5. Select the relevant post, subject and category according to the eligibility criteria.
  6. Pay the application fee once the payment facility becomes active on September 1.
  7. Submit the completed application form and save the acknowledgement or receipt for future reference.

Candidates should check the eligibility requirements and details entered in the form carefully before submitting their applications.

Applicants are advised not to wait until the final day to complete the process to avoid technical or payment-related issues.
