Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has reopened the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) portal for admissions to Intermediate (Class 11) courses for the 2026–28 academic session. Eligible students can submit online applications until June 1.
The move provides another opportunity for students who were unable to complete the admission process earlier and for those whose examination results were declared later.
OFSS Admission Process Resumes
BSEB said students can apply through the OFSS portal and choose their preferred schools and colleges within the prescribed deadline.
The online system has been designed to streamline the admission process and allow applicants to submit forms without visiting institutions in person.
Relief For Compartmental And Special Exam Candidates
Students who successfully passed the 2026 Matric Special and Compartmental Examinations are also eligible to seek admission to Intermediate courses.
The Board said these students will receive the same opportunity to apply for admission as other successful candidates, ensuring they are not disadvantaged due to the timing of their results.
Students From Other Boards Eligible
Candidates who have completed Class 10 from recognised boards, including CBSE and ICSE, can also apply through the OFSS admission process.
BSEB has stated that the admission system is open to eligible students from various education boards, providing a common platform for applications.
Opportunity For Those Who Missed Earlier Deadline
The Board has also invited students who were unable to submit the Common Application Form during the previous admission window to apply during the reopened period.
Officials said the additional application window is intended to ensure that no eligible student misses the chance to secure admission for the new academic session.
Online Process And Helpline Support
The entire admission procedure will be conducted online through the OFSS portal.
Students facing difficulties or seeking information related to the admission process can contact the BSEB helpline numbers: 0612-2230009 and 0612-2230051.
