Patna: Uncertainty continues among students awaiting the CBSE Class 12 Compartment Examination 2026, as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet announced the application process or released the List of Candidates (LOC) schedule.
According to the Board’s earlier academic calendar, the process for preparing the LOC and accepting applications for the compartment examination was expected to begin in the first week of June. However, no official notification has been issued so far, leaving students and parents concerned as the examination date draws closer.
Examination Scheduled for July 15
CBSE has already confirmed that the Class 12 Compartment Examination 2026 will be conducted on July 15. Despite the announcement of the examination date, the detailed timetable and application-related instructions are still awaited.
Students who have been placed in the compartment category are preparing for the examination, but many are unable to complete the required formalities due to the delay in the application process.
Detailed Schedule Expected Soon
The Board has indicated that the detailed examination schedule will be released shortly. Once issued, students will receive information regarding application submission, examination centres, admit cards and other important guidelines.
Educational institutions are also waiting for official instructions to facilitate the submission of candidate details and complete the registration process.
Parents Seek Early Notification
Parents have urged CBSE to begin the application process without further delay. They say that with the examination less than a month away, students require adequate time to complete registration and focus on preparation.
Students have been advised to regularly monitor official CBSE updates for announcements regarding the compartment examination schedule and application process.
