Patna: The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has released its monthly performance ranking for May, assessing all 101 Land Reforms Sub-Collector (DCLR) offices across Bihar. Chakia in East Champaran secured the top spot with 81.97 marks, followed by Sheikhpura with 79.77 marks and Tarapur in Munger with 78.72 marks.
Nirmali in Supaul climbed from fifth to fourth position, while Arwal recorded the most notable rise, leaping from 58th place to fifth with 76.52 marks. Biraul in Darbhanga moved from 12th to sixth, Hilsa in Nalanda retained its seventh rank, and Paliganj in Patna improved from ninth to eighth.
Belsand in Sitamarhi slipped from sixth to ninth place, while Begusarai held its tenth rank. Other significant climbers included Pakadiyal in East Champaran, which moved from 23rd to 11th, and Aurangabad, which jumped from 88th to 15th place.
The ranking system is based on several parameters: 15 marks each for supervision of Parimarjan Plus, mutation supervision, Abhiyan Basera-2, and mutation appeals; 10 marks for zonal office inspections; 5 for Aadhar seeding status; and 20 for BLDRA performance.
At the bottom of the rankings were Navagachhiya in Bhagalpur with 37.16 marks, Bhagalpur Sadar at 49.95, and Jaynagar in Madhubani at 50.82.
Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sanjay Sarawagi said continuous reviews in online and offline modes are bringing positive results, improving rankings and ensuring people do not face hurdles in accessing revenue-related services.
