Buxar: Chandan Mishra and Sheru Singh were once best friends who ruled the crime world of Buxar, Bihar, together. Both of them were known for their daring crimes, including eight murders for extortion, by the time they were just 20 years old. People feared them wherever they went.
However, their strong friendship broke when Sheru fell in love with Chandan’s cousin sister. Their love affair became the talk of the town and Chandan felt insulted. This created a big fight between them and their friendship turned into hatred. The anger grew stronger while they were in jail.
On 14 July, five shooters entered Paras Hospital in Patna where Chandan was admitted. They calmly went to his room on the second floor and shot him dead before escaping easily. Police investigations revealed that Sheru, who is lodged in Purulia jail in Bengal, planned this murder. He confessed to the police during questioning. Police are also preparing to question his disciple who is in a Bihar jail.
This murder was not just about crime; it was about betrayal. Two friends who committed crimes together ended up destroying each other’s lives. Their story shows that there is no loyalty in the world of crime – love, revenge, and greed can end even the strongest friendships.
