Patna: Lok Janshakti Party-Ram Vilas (LJP-R) president and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has drawn a comparison between his “friend” and Jan Suraj Party (JSP) chief Prashant Kishor and Delhi’s former Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, citing similar political tactics.
Paswan was responding to a series of allegations made by Kishor against five senior leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) — Samrat Choudhary, Ashok Choudhary, Mangal Pandey, Dilip Jaiswal, and Sanjay Jaiswal. Without naming Kejriwal explicitly, Paswan remarked that such politics had already been witnessed in Delhi.
“Prashant Kishor is making one allegation after another. In the true sense, is he sharing information backed by facts, or is he simply making allegations? I believe all these matters are subject to investigation,” Paswan said. “We have seen this kind of politics in Delhi before. Before becoming Chief Minister, an AAP leader had presented a list of allegations. But when the time came to act on it, they became completely silent.”
Addressing the legal dimension, Paswan added: “I don’t know what facts Prashant Kishor is presenting. Those accused are fully capable of presenting their side of the story. Some have already filed defamation claims. Whatever clarifications are needed, they will provide them. Allegations will arise from time to time, and they will be answered. The truth will come out in the end.”
