Patna: The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has announced that it will host the 5th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on 10 and 11 December 2025. The two-day event will take place on the CIMP campus in Patna and will bring together speakers and participants from across India and around the world. The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, corporate leaders, policymakers and social sector organisations to exchange ideas on strengthening CSR practices.
The event is being organised in collaboration with UNICEF, the School of Management Studies and India CSR. This year’s theme, “CSR, Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration,” focuses on the importance of partnership in building long-lasting social impact. Organisers say the discussions will highlight how businesses can work more closely with communities and institutions to create responsible and sustainable development models.
Mr Bhaskar Chatterjee, former IAS officer and former Director-General and CEO, will serve as the Chief Guest and deliver the keynote address. Known widely for shaping India’s CSR framework, Chatterjee is expected to share insights on how CSR has evolved and why stronger stakeholder involvement is needed. His address will set the stage for detailed sessions on policy, practice and research in the field.
The conference will also see participation from several notable personalities, including Ms Margaret Gwada, Bihar Chief Field Office at UNICEF, and Mr Hishmi Jamil Husain, along with many leaders from academic, corporate and development sectors. According to the organisers, the event will offer a valuable opportunity for participants to build networks, learn from successful CSR initiatives and contribute to the global dialogue on responsible business.
