Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited Jayprabha Medanta Hospital on Saturday to meet Cooperation Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, who is undergoing treatment after developing a heart-related medical condition. During the visit, the Chief Minister spoke with doctors about the minister’s health and treatment and directed hospital authorities to ensure comprehensive medical care.
Choudhary also wished Ram Kripal Yadav a speedy recovery and said the state government would extend all necessary support for his treatment.
Heart Procedure and Recovery
Ram Kripal Yadav was admitted to Jayprabha Medanta Hospital after his health deteriorated. According to doctors, medical examinations identified a heart-related problem, following which he underwent a minor procedure to implant a pacemaker.
Hospital authorities said the minister remains under the care of specialist doctors and is responding well to treatment. His condition has shown steady improvement.
Chief Minister Reviews Medical Care
During his visit, Choudhary held detailed discussions with the treating doctors to assess the minister’s progress. The medical team informed him that the treatment had been effective and that Ram Kripal Yadav’s health was improving.
The Chief Minister instructed hospital management to ensure there were no shortcomings in the treatment and asked that all necessary medical facilities continue to be provided.
Nitish Kumar Visited Earlier
Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had earlier visited Jayprabha Medanta Hospital to inquire about Ram Kripal Yadav’s health. He was accompanied by Food and Consumer Protection Minister Ashok Choudhary.
During their visit, both leaders met the doctors, sought updates on the minister’s treatment and wished him a speedy recovery.
Minister Thanks Visitors
Ram Kripal Yadav thanked the Chief Minister for visiting him at the hospital. He said the visit reflected a close personal relationship and expressed appreciation for the medical care being provided.
The minister also said he was confident of making a full recovery and hoped to resume his departmental responsibilities and public service at the earliest.
