Darbhanga: The Darbhanga district administration has directed nationalised banks to speed up the processing of loan applications under the PM Surya Ghar scheme, aiming to improve access to finance for consumers planning to install rooftop solar systems.
District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar issued the directions during a review meeting with representatives of nationalised banks, according to the report.
Banks Asked To Clear Pending Applications
The district magistrate directed banks to promptly process pending loan applications and approve and disburse loans to eligible beneficiaries.
The move is intended to reduce financial barriers for consumers seeking to install solar plants under the scheme.
