Mumbai: The action-thriller Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is proving unstoppable at the box office, with the film continuing to surge past expectations. After crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in just four days, early estimates suggest the film collected Rs 8.27 crore by 4pm on Day 5, taking its total domestic net to Rs 134.52 crore. Final numbers are expected to rise once night shows are accounted for.
Led by Ranveer Singh and Sara Arzi, the film also features a heavyweight ensemble cast—R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal—whose performances have contributed to the film’s wide appeal. Social media has also played a substantial role in boosting its cultural footprint, with memes, reels, and fan edits circulating across platforms.
One performance in particular has captured public imagination: Akshaye Khanna’s entry as the bandit Rehman Dakait, which has become a viral highlight. His portrayal has drawn strong reactions from fans and fellow filmmakers alike, including Madhur Bhandarkar, who described Khanna’s turn as “a masterclass in acting.”

Trade analysts expect the film to continue its momentum into the weekend, with predictions suggesting it could soon enter the Rs 150 crore club.
