Buxar: Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh (IAS), Energy Secretary of the Government of Bihar and Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited, on Friday inspected the country’s ambitious STPL-Buxar Thermal Power Project. The project is operated under a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited (a Navratna CPSE).
On this occasion, District Magistrate Sahila (IAS), Mr. A.K. Singh (ADM), Mr. Vineet Kumar (DLAO), Mr. Avnish Kumar (SDM), and Mr. Gaurav Pandey (DSP), along with officials from the project administration and Bihar State Power Holding Company, were present.
Underlining the importance of electricity, the Energy Secretary placed special emphasis on the early completion of the project. He encouraged all concerned officials and agencies to make active and meaningful contributions to this important project.
During the visit, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh held a review meeting with officials from the district administration and various project-related agencies, including STPL, RVNL, L&T, and PowerMech. He then inspected key project sites, including the CCR, the wagon tipper site, and the coal site, to assess the progress of the project.
This visit is considered crucial to accelerating the project’s progress and strengthening coordination among various agencies.
