Patna: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will organise its monthly outreach initiative, ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’, across 11 districts of Bihar on December 29, aiming to resolve member grievances and improve access to social security services.
The programme will be conducted in districts under the Patna regional office, including Rohtas, Kaimur, Bhojpur, Buxar, Aurangabad, Nalanda, Arwal, Gaya, Nawada, Jehanabad and Patna. EPFO officials will interact directly with employees, pensioners and employers to address complaints on the spot.
Alongside grievance redressal, the initiative will focus on creating awareness about benefits available under the Prime Minister’s Developed India Employment Scheme (PMVBRY), including eligibility criteria and incentives for employers and workers.
Officials will also provide guidance on digital services such as online establishment registration, Universal Account Number (UAN) generation and e-nomination. Technical issues related to registration and online processes will be resolved during the programme.
Hemant Kumar, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, said the initiative was designed to strengthen trust between EPFO, employers and workers, while expanding the reach of social security schemes.
