Gold reached an all-time high of Rs 1.76 lakh per 10 grams, while silver touched Rs 3.86 lakh per kg.
Experts see further rise
A gold market expert said the precious metal continues to receive support from retail investors as well as central banks globally, including the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which has been consistently purchasing gold.
According to the expert, gold could maintain its upward momentum despite challenging conditions. If market conditions improve, silver could also see a sharp rise.
