Patna: Google has released a special homepage Doodle to mark the beginning of the IPL 2026 playoffs, as the tournament enters its knockout phase on May 26.
Titled “Men’s Indian Premier League 2026 Playoffs”, the animated Doodle features cricket-themed visuals including batting, bowling and a packed stadium atmosphere. Designed with a purple neon backdrop, the artwork reflects the energy surrounding the final stage of the tournament.
Users clicking on the Doodle are redirected to live IPL-related updates, including match schedules, points tables and recent news connected to the playoffs.

The first playoff fixture, Qualifier 1, will see the Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on the Gujarat Titans on Monday evening.
