Patna: The Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) has expelled 11 of its senior leaders, including national and state-level office-bearers, citing indiscipline amid the Bihar Assembly elections.
The party’s National General Secretary, Rajesh Kumar Pandey, issued a letter on Friday evening, confirming the action, which was taken on the instructions of the National President.
Those expelled include Bihar State Organisation Incharge Rajesh Ranjan, National Secretaries Ritesh Kumar (also known as Chunnu Sharma), Shravan Bhuiyan, and spokesperson Nandlal Manjhi; State General Secretary Chandan Thakur; State Spokesperson Shailendra Mishra; State President of the Cooperative Cell Shiv Kumar Ram; Purnia District President Rajendra Yadav; Muzaffarpur Executive District President Baiju Yadav; and leaders Manju Sardar and BK Singh.
According to the party, these leaders were found to be acting against HAM’s policies and disciplinary code. They have been removed from all party positions and stripped of primary membership for a period of six years.
