Patna: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna hosted the 7th edition of TEDxIITPatna, a day-long event that celebrated ideas, inspiration and innovation.
The event was inaugurated by IIT Patna director T. N. Singh, who encouraged participants to embrace the TEDx spirit of curiosity and knowledge-sharing.
The line-up featured eight speakers from varied backgrounds. Ramachandra Budhial spoke on resilience, reflecting on how setbacks can become stepping stones for growth. Wildlife photographer Sachin Rai shared stories from nature, stressing the need to safeguard fragile ecosystems. Artist and architect Lakshmi Mohanbabu emphasised the power of art and design in bridging cultural divides.
Anshuman Pushkar, an actor and IIT alumnus, recounted his journey into cinema, urging students to follow their passions boldly. Dr Asif Ekbal, an expert in artificial intelligence and natural language processing, explored the evolving relationship between humans and machines. Actor and musician Plabita Borthakur reflected on identity and creativity, advocating authenticity in a world driven by conformity.
Entrepreneur Chirag Arya inspired attendees with lessons in perseverance, highlighting how failures often pave the way for success. The event concluded with leadership coach Naveen Kumar, who underlined the role of empathy and community in building stronger futures.
