Patna: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week (October 27 – November 2, 2025), themed “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna held a special event on Friday to reaffirm its commitment to transparency, honesty, and ethical conduct.
On this occasion, the faculty members, officers, and staff of IIT Patna took the Integrity Pledge, emphasizing their dedication to upholding integrity and accountability across all aspects of their professional responsibilities.

The event also featured an interactive session by a team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Anti-Corruption Bureau, Patna, titled “Vigilance: Management Tools.” The experts discussed best practices for ensuring transparency, mitigating corruption risks, and fostering ethical decision-making in public institutions.

Dr. Amit Kumar Verma, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), IIT Patna, welcomed the guests and presented mementos as a token of appreciation for their participation. Professor A. K. Thakur, Dean Administration-cum-Registrar, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers and attendees for their active engagement in promoting a culture of integrity.
