ISKCON Patna, Buddha Marg
The Shri Shri Radha Banke Bihari Ji Temple, part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, is hosting a two-day Janmashtami celebration. The programme will include continuous kirtans, devotional discourses and other religious events.
Shri Radha Gopal Temple, Chaudhary Tola Ghat
Built in 1830 by King Hit Narayan of Tikari, this riverside temple offers a serene setting enhanced by the Ganges and surrounding greenery. Locals say that at night, one can hear the faint sound of a flute and anklets, adding to its mystique.

Renowned for its striking architecture and lifelike idols of Radha and Krishna, the temple becomes a hub of activity during Janmashtami. Celebrations include vibrant decorations, devotional singing and grand tableaux.
Shri Gaudiya Math, Mithapur
One of the most visited temples during Janmashtami, Shri Gaudiya Math is known for its elaborate decorations and soul-stirring kirtans. The temple’s illuminated tableaux and devotional atmosphere draw large crowds seeking spiritual solace.
