Patna: Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JJD), led by Tej Pratap Yadav, has invited applications and nominations for the post of Bihar state president as the party works to strengthen its organisation across the state.
Yadav, the elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, announced the application process on his X account. According to the party’s message, the deadline for applications is September 30, 2026.
Party Seeks Organisational Leadership
JJD said it is looking for a “diligent, honest, resilient and qualified” person to lead its Bihar unit. The party has linked the appointment to its stated focus on social justice, social rights and “Sampoorna Badlav”.
Contact numbers have also been issued by the party for candidates seeking information about the application process.
National Spokesperson Appointed
The move comes three days after Yadav appointed Priya Singh Vats as the party’s national spokesperson on September 7.
While announcing the appointment on X, Yadav cited Vats’s organisational experience, communication skills and commitment to the party’s policies. He said the appointment was intended to give the organisation fresh energy and direction.
Focus On Expanding JJD
Yadav formed the Jan Shakti Janata Dal after pursuing a political path separate from the RJD. The latest appointments and organisational recruitment indicate an effort to build the party’s structure in Bihar.
The selection of a state president and the recent appointment of a national spokesperson are among the steps being taken to expand JJD’s organisational network ahead of its next phase of political activity.
