Patna: Bhojpuri singer and actor Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh, has once again drawn attention on social media after sharing a video of her Karva Chauth celebrations amid their ongoing marital dispute.
In a 39-second video posted on Instagram, Jyoti Singh is seen performing the traditional Karva Chauth puja dressed in a red saree, holding a decorated puja thali and sieve. She follows the rituals with devotion — looking at the moon through the sieve before breaking her fast by drinking water.
A Bhojpuri song sung by Pawan Singh plays in the background, with the lyrics: “Pal-pal pahad nian lage samaiya, jiyara rahela ae piya tohra bina humaar zindagi udasa,” translating roughly to “Every moment feels like a mountain to climb, my life feels empty without you, beloved.”
In her caption, Jyoti Singh wrote: “As a wife, I will continue to fulfil my duty, but I pray to God that no one else becomes as unfortunate as me. Happy Karva Chauth to all mothers and sisters.”
Earlier in the day, she also posted a photo of herself with folded hands, wishing Karva Chauth greetings to her followers. Notably, she included her husband’s name in her Instagram handle and caption despite the ongoing controversy.
While the public feud between the couple continues, Jyoti Singh’s steadfast observance of Karva Chauth has sparked conversations online — with many praising her composure and others questioning the emotional toll behind her devotion.
