Patna: In a heartwarming celebration of Raksha Bandhan, popular educator Faizal Khan aka Khan Sir of Patna was tied rakhi by over 10,000 women and girls on Saturday, marking an extraordinary display of affection and respect. The event drew massive crowds, turning the occasion into a festive spectacle.
To honor the sisters who came to tie rakhi, Khan Sir hosted a lavish feast featuring 156 different dishes, ensuring the guests enjoyed a memorable culinary experience. The celebration took place at his Patna coaching campus, where people had begun gathering since morning, some travelling from distant towns and villages.
Alongside the rakhis, the visiting sisters also brought unique gifts as a token of love for Khan Sir—symbolizing their deep admiration for his contribution to education and society. Several attendees said they considered him like a brother, even though there was no blood relation, because of the way he inspires and supports youth.
The event was not only about tradition but also about community bonding. Khan Sir expressed his gratitude, saying that such affection from the people of Bihar and beyond motivates him to continue working for students and the youth.
