Patna: Union Minister and former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has stated that seat sharing within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the upcoming assembly elections has been “more or less decided.” Manjhi, who met with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Saturday, emphasized that all alliance partners will need to be satisfied with the final allocation to avoid any disputes.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Manjhi said, “There is no conflict here. Which party will get how many seats, all this is more or less decided. Whoever gets the seats, will have to be satisfied with the allocation, there is no question of dispute in this.”
He stressed the importance of an NDA government in Bihar to counter what he called the “false statements and misinformation” spread by opposition parties.
Manjhi also responded to allegations made by opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav regarding the voter list, accusing Tejashwi of resorting to fraud. “He is exposing himself. Tejashwi is presenting two epic cards, where did the second card come from?” Manjhi questioned, suggesting that such actions were a testament to the opposition’s dishonest tactics.
Meeting with Samrat Chaudhary
The meeting between Manjhi and Samrat Chaudhary, which was also attended by Minister Santosh Kumar Suman, focused on preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Bihar. Manjhi stated that as the MP from Gaya, he offered suggestions for the event. He recommended holding the program at Magadh University, noting that the location would be suitable even for a large crowd of 3-4 lakh people.
