Rohtas: BJP Working Committee member Kiran Prabhakar, widely known as ‘Naukri Wali Didi’, conducted a Kanya Pujan ceremony at her office in Karakat on Tuesday, coinciding with Durga Puja Maha Ashtami. The event was attended by senior BJP and NDA leaders, along with local party workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prabhakar described this year’s Durga Puja as “very special,” noting that it coincides with the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). She praised the RSS as “a symbol of the essence of Hinduism,” highlighting its role in promoting cultural values, respect for women, and social service, while maintaining a non-political identity.
Prabhakar also used the occasion to criticise the opposition INDIA alliance, accusing them of disrespecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. She said the ceremony symbolised “the dignity, power, strength and self-respect of women” and emphasised that a society that honours women is culturally rich. She concluded by praying that the opposition might be granted wisdom.
