Senate meeting postponed
The Syndicate decided to postpone the university’s general academic Senate meeting, which had been proposed later this month.
According to the university, the decision was taken to ensure the timely conduct of examinations and to focus on achieving targets under the Samarth Portal initiative.
Campus beautification plans approved
As part of a broader campus development programme, the university approved the restoration of all ponds located within the campus.
The project will include the construction of pedestrian pathways around the water bodies and the installation of benches and seating areas for students, staff and visitors.

Based on recommendations from technical experts, the university plans to install separate transformers for every five departments. Officials said the move is expected to reduce power tripping and low-voltage issues.

To strengthen internal security, CCTV cameras will be installed at key and sensitive locations across the campus.
The university also plans to construct a modern Syndicate hall within the Vice-Chancellor’s office complex to facilitate future meetings and administrative functions.
