Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president, Nitin Nabin, on Monday honoured party legislators and local leaders for helping extend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio address Mann Ki Baat to the grassroots level, as the party intensified efforts to consolidate its organisational network across Bihar.
At a function in the state capital, Nabin felicitated MLAs, district chiefs and mandal presidents who ensured that the programme reached voters at the booth level. Party leaders described the initiative as part of a broader strategy to strengthen direct communication between the central leadership and citizens through structured local engagement.
Addressing party workers, Nabin praised their coordination and mobilisation efforts, saying the success of the outreach depended on consistent work at the ground level. Senior office-bearers, including the state BJP president Sanjay Saraogi, were present at the event and echoed the call for stronger booth-level organisation ahead of upcoming political challenges.
The felicitation ceremony was followed by a closed-door core group meeting, where the leadership reviewed organisational performance and discussed future strategies. According to party officials, the discussions focused on expanding membership, sharpening communication and ensuring the party’s messages reach every constituency.
The meeting underscored the BJP’s continued emphasis on grassroots structures as it seeks to consolidate support and maintain an active presence across Bihar’s political landscape.
