Sitamarhi: A massive fire broke out at a plywood factory in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, burning goods worth lakhs to ashes. The incident happened around 3 am on Friday at Yashwant Singh’s plywood factory in Bariyarpur under Nagar police station area.
According to reports, the fire started suddenly in the middle of the night, creating panic in the area. As soon as the local fire brigade received information, they rushed to the spot. After working hard for several hours, the team managed to control the fire and stop it from spreading to nearby areas.
The exact cause of the fire is still unknown. Police and fire brigade officials said that initial investigation has not found any clear reason behind the fire. They are checking all angles to find out what led to the incident.
The fire has left the factory owner and workers shocked as all their goods and materials were destroyed. People living nearby said they were scared when they saw huge flames rising from the factory. Officials have assured that they will investigate the matter thoroughly to prevent such incidents in future.
