Motihari: During a public rally at Gandhi Maidan in Motihari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paused mid-speech after spotting an artwork of the Ayodhya Ram mandir held by a member of the crowd. Visibly moved by the piece, Modi praised the artist’s dedication and assured him that he would write a personal letter in appreciation.
“A young man has brought an entire Ram temple to the rally. What a grand piece of work,” the Prime Minister said, addressing the gathering. “I think he wants to gift it to me.” He then asked the SPG security personnel to retrieve the artwork and instructed the artist to write his address on it, promising a written response.
The Prime Minister remarked that the gift held special meaning on the land where Mother Sita is remembered daily, adding, “You are giving me such a magnificent artwork of the Ram temple here.”
The Motihari event was part of Modi’s continued outreach in Bihar ahead of upcoming assembly elections. He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth over 7,217 crore rupees across the state. The Prime Minister also flagged off four new Amrit Bharat Express trains, including a route connecting Patna to New Delhi.
