Patna: Students of the Motion Coaching Institute in Patna have staged protests against the management after all the institute’s teachers resigned simultaneously, claiming the director assaulted some students for raising concerns about their education.
According to students, the abrupt resignation of the faculty has disrupted their studies, with many saying the teachers promised at the time of admission are no longer available. “We took admission here to study from the teachers we were introduced to. Now we either want to continue with them or receive a refund,” said Satyam, a student involved in the protests. He alleged that the director, identified as Rahul, physically assaulted three to four students during the confrontation and threatened to call the police, warning of further action.
Students preparing for competitive exams, including NEET, expressed frustration at the frequent changes in faculty. “The faculty here changes every month. The management is completely mismanaged. Teachers are leaving, and the syllabus is falling behind,” said Abhinav Tiwari. He added that several teachers, including Anoop Tiwari, Deepak Kumar, Prem, Neeraj Chauhan, and Rajesh, had resigned, claiming it was “for the students’ betterment,” though the students said their learning was being adversely affected.
Krishna, another student, said the resignations were sudden and unexplained. “We have paid the full fees, but the teachers we were promised are not here at all,” she said, highlighting growing demands for accountability and refunds.
