Patna: The Nalanda Medical College Alumni Society officially inaugurated its new office today, with the ceremony led by Dr. Divakar Tejaswi, President of the Alumni Society, alongside Dr. Usha Kumari, Principal of Nalanda Medical College, and Dr. Rashmi Kumari, Superintendent of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital.
Expressing their appreciation, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Secretary of the Alumni Society, and executive committee members Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and Dr. Ajay Kumar, thanked the Principal for her support in establishing the office.
Dr. Puneet Kumar, Organising Secretary of this year’s Alumni Meet, announced that the College Foundation Day combined with the Alumni Meet will begin at 8:00 AM on April 2 at the NMC campus. The day will feature a range of academic and cultural programmes, concluding in the afternoon.
The event will honour senior doctors from the 1976 batch, celebrating their Golden Jubilee, as well as former faculty members who have contributed to the college’s growth. The Alumni Meet will conclude with a gala dinner at Urja Auditorium, providing a space for alumni to reconnect and celebrate their shared history.
The event’s organisation was notably supported by members of the 1993 organising batch, including Dr. Kumud Sinha, Dr. Sangeeta Singh, Dr. Pratibha Srivastava, Dr. Rinku Kumari, and Dr. Sunita Kumari.
