Patna: Patna Women’s College recently hosted a workshop aimed at strengthening students’ skills in interviews, group discussions, and employability. The event was organised by the college’s Placement and Career Counselling Cell under the Gender Inclusion and Equity Initiatives of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan.
The session began with the felicitation of resource persons, including Ms. Akanksha, Personality Development and Communication Coach at Quad AI School of Technology & Management; Ms. Ayushi, Career Coach and Training & Placement Officer at Quad AI School of Technology & Management; and Ms. Ridhima Srivastava, Director and Founder of Weaver-Hand.
Ms. Akanksha led the first session, highlighting the significance of group discussions in the modern professional environment. She conducted mock group discussions and explained key strategies to help students participate effectively.
This was followed by Ms. Ayushi, who shared practical tips and insights on interviews and group discussions, helping students build confidence and communication skills.
The final session was conducted by Ms. Ridhima Srivastava, who focused on employability and effective communication. An interactive questionnaire round allowed students to engage directly with the resource person, deepening their understanding of workplace expectations.
The workshop was held under the guidance of Mr. Alok John, Dean of National and International Collaboration and Consultancy Services, along with core committee members from various departments. Coordination and moderation were managed by faculty and student leaders, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants.
