Patna: Bihar PWD Minister and Bankipur MLA Nitin Nabin formally filed his fifth nomination for the upcoming Assembly elections, contesting once again as the NDA candidate from the Bankipur constituency.
The day began with Nabin seeking blessings at the Akhandvasini Temple in Golghar and the Kali Temple in Bansghat. He later paid homage to his late father and former MLA of Patna West, Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha, at the Naveen Sinha Smriti Park in Rajbanshi Nagar. Prior to filing, Nabin also received blessings from senior leaders including Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav.

Prominent dignitaries present included Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Deputy CM Arun Saw, former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur, Chhattisgarh ministers O.P. Chaudhary, and BJP national media co-incharge Sanjay Mayukh, among others. The nomination was officially submitted at the Patna District Collectorate, attended by Chief Minister Sai.
Addressing a large gathering at the Scout and Guide grounds, Naveen said, “The people of Bankipur taught me to walk holding their hand. Everything I am today is because of their love and support. Across the constituency, the call is clear: NDA again. In Bankipur, it is not just Nitin Naveen—it is the BJP that stands strong.”
He further criticised the opposition, stating that the grand alliance was attempting to mislead voters, but stressed that Bankipur’s electorate is focused on development issues. Naveen reaffirmed his commitment to further Bihar’s growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Patna MP Ravi Shankar Prasad praised Nabin’s dedication to constituency development, urging party workers to secure a decisive victory.
