Patna: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg visited Bapu Tower in Gardanibagh during her visit to Bihar on Friday, accompanied by senior officials from the Government of Odisha. Among those accompanying her was Secretary (Building Construction) Sanjay Kumar Singh.
During the visit, the Odisha delegation toured galleries and exhibitions dedicated to the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, along with displays focusing on the historic Champaran Satyagraha.
Officials closely observed the digital and audio-visual installations housed within the tower and praised the modern presentation of Gandhi’s ideas and Bihar’s role in India’s freedom movement.

Anu Garg lauded the architectural design of Bapu Tower and said the initiative would help introduce younger generations to Gandhiji’s principles of truth and non-violence.
The visiting officials described the museum’s presentation of history through advanced digital mediums as “unparalleled” and characterised Bapu Tower as an important centre of knowledge and inspiration.

Particular attention was paid to exhibits highlighting:
- Mahatma Gandhi’s life philosophy
- Bihar’s contribution to the Champaran movement
- Gandhi’s social and moral messages
During the programme, Bapu Tower’s director Vinay Kumar felicitated Anu Garg, Sanjay Kumar Singh and other members of the delegation with bouquets, shawls and commemorative mementoes.
