Patna: Jayprakash Narayan International Airport (JPNI), Patna, will observe the Yatri Seva Abhiyan 2026 from September 17 to October 10, with a series of activities aimed at improving passenger convenience and engagement.
The campaign, being organised by the Airports Authority of India, will focus on passenger assistance, interaction, wellness, entertainment and local culture across the airport terminal.
Passenger Assistance And Feedback
A dedicated Passenger Assistance/Seva Desk will provide guidance from entry to boarding, particularly for first-time flyers, senior citizens, Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRMs), families travelling with children and passengers requiring assistance.
The airport will also organise passenger interaction and QR-based feedback initiatives, including the “One Question – One Change” campaign and a feedback wall to collect suggestions from passengers.
“Yatri Seva Abhiyan reflects our continued commitment to placing passengers at the heart of airport services,” the Airport Director of JPNI Airport, Patna, said.
“Through initiatives focused on assistance, wellness, engagement, feedback and cultural experience, we aim to make every passenger’s journey through JPNI Airport safe, comfortable and memorable,” the director said.
Activities For Passengers And Children
The airport will set up a Selfie With PM point in the departure and arrival areas. Arriving passengers will also receive a traditional welcome featuring a tika.
A Kids Engagement Zone will offer painting, drawing, colouring, games and other interactive activities.
Passengers can also participate in an Aviation Quiz and 60-Second Challenge based on aviation, airports and safe travel.
A Passenger Engagement and Relax Zone in the Security Hold Area will feature activities including carrom, chess and brain games.
Health And Wellness Camp
A Health and Wellness Camp will be organised in the arrivals area, offering basic health checks including blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI.
Local Culture And Green Initiative
The campaign will also showcase local culture through folk and cultural performances, along with local handicrafts and ODOP products.
Passengers will also be able to explore available food and retail offerings at the airport.
Under the Green Passenger Initiative, saplings will be distributed to willing passengers and tree plantation activities will be undertaken as part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative.
The airport will also use digital and visual displays to highlight campaign activities and provide information about airport facilities and amenities.
The Airports Authority of India said it looks forward to the participation of passengers, stakeholders and the airport community in making Yatri Seva Abhiyan 2026 focused on passenger service and engagement.
