Patna: To solve the long-standing problem of waterlogging during heavy rains, Budko has installed a powerful 105-horsepower pump near Patliputra station. The pump will help drain water faster and provide relief to the people of the area.
Budko managing director Animesh Kumar Parashar said the new machine will increase the drainage capacity of the Patna Municipal Corporation. He added that it will help citizens by ensuring water is cleared on time.
The pump has been installed to cover Patliputra Station, Patliputra Police Station, Ward 2, and surrounding areas. Officials said it will reduce the suffering of residents who often face flooding during the monsoon.
With this step, not just the police station but also nearby homes and colonies are expected to get relief from waterlogging. Authorities said that with Budko and the municipal corporation working together, the issue of waterlogging in many wards is being solved faster than before.
