Patna: More than 2,245 people have taken a ride on the double-decker bus service along Patna’s scenic Ganga Path, according to the Bihar Tourism Development Corporation. The service, which showcases the Ganga on one side and the city skyline on the other, has quickly become a popular attraction for both local residents and tourists from across India.
The 40-seater buses, featuring 20 air-conditioned seats on the lower deck and 20 on the upper, come equipped with a restroom, refrigerator, and an onboard guide who provides commentary on the historical and cultural landmarks along the route. The one-way fare is Rs 50 per person, while a round trip costs Rs 100.

Currently operating from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, the service takes passengers on a journey from Digha to notable sites including Golambar, Sabhyata Dwar, Darbhanga House, Gandhi Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi Setu, Gai Ghat, and Kangan Ghat. So far, the service has generated Rs 2,14,900 in revenue.
Officials from the tourism department said arrangements are underway to extend operating hours from 10:00am during the winter season to accommodate increased demand.
