Patna: Patna is set to welcome a new double decker bus service on the scenic JP Ganga Path, with the official launch scheduled for September 2. The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation will operate the service, which is aimed at boosting tourism and offering residents a new way to experience the city.
Tourism Minister Raju Kumar Singh will inaugurate the service at 12.30 pm near Digha Rotary. Officials say the service is designed to provide visitors with a unique perspective of Patna, while also improving urban connectivity along the newly developed riverside corridor.
The introduction of the double decker buses is being hailed as part of the state government’s broader efforts to promote tourism infrastructure and highlight Patna’s cultural and historical significance.
