🚨 Tight Security & EVM Transfer
Patna SSP Kartikeya K. Sharma confirmed that EVMs from all 14 constituencies were transported to the strong room at AN College, under a two-tier security cover.
“Additional forces have been deployed for round-the-clock surveillance. The ballot transfer process was completed safely,” Sharma said.
Observers noted that the sharp rise in voter participation, particularly in semi-urban and rural belts, could play a decisive role in determining outcomes. The higher turnout compared to previous elections suggests a revitalised electoral engagement across Patna district — a bellwether for Bihar’s broader political sentiment.
