Patna: Aspiring filmmakers, film students, writers and cinema enthusiasts in Patna and across Bihar will get an opportunity to interact with writer and director Devanshu Singh during an upcoming online session on visual storytelling.
The session is being presented by the Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation (BSFDFC) in collaboration with Freecomers as part of Cine Samvad × Freecomers Filmy Friday, a curated series focusing on the craft, creative process and realities of filmmaking.
Session to Focus on Storytelling Through Images
Titled “Visual Storytelling: The Art of Telling Stories Through Images,” the session will examine how filmmakers communicate ideas and emotions beyond dialogue and screenplay.
The discussion will focus on elements such as framing, composition, performance, images and visual language, and how these choices influence the way audiences experience a story.
Devanshu Singh to Share Filmmaking Experience
Writer and director Devanshu Singh will share his experiences and perspective on developing a visual approach to a story.
The conversation will also explore how filmmakers make creative decisions that determine what audiences ultimately see and feel on screen.
Opportunity for Bihar’s Aspiring Filmmakers
The session is aimed at providing aspiring filmmakers with practical insights into filmmaking beyond textbooks and classrooms.
