Patna: Patna’s district administration has introduced a dedicated helpline to tackle issues with domestic LPG gas supply and distribution in the city. The move, directed by the Patna District Magistrate, aims to ensure that consumers can register complaints or provide information about any disruptions in service.
The helpline, operational at 0612-2219810, will be staffed from 9 am to 6 pm. Residents experiencing delays, irregular supply, or other gas-related problems are encouraged to call. Officials said all complaints will be closely monitored, and relevant authorities will be informed promptly to resolve issues.
The administration has warned that any gas agency found negligent in fulfilling bookings will face strict action. Consumers are also urged to report instances of black marketing or distribution irregularities, helping authorities maintain a transparent and efficient supply system.
“The timely provision of domestic LPG is an essential service, and any lapse will not be tolerated,” said a district official. “With public cooperation, we aim to make the gas distribution system more accountable and effective.”
