Patna: The vision of metro travel in Patna is moving closer to reality following a detailed electrical inspection of key installations on the Patna Metro project. The Chief Electrical Inspector General of the Government of India, Jagdish Kumar, led a thorough examination of critical components including the Receiving Sub Station (RSS), Auxiliary Sub Station (ASS), Feeder Line, and Depot Line.
This comprehensive review, conducted alongside senior officials from the Patna Metro Rail Corporation and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, tested all electrical equipment to ensure flawless operation once services commence. The inspection has accelerated progress and reinforced the project’s commitment to stringent safety and quality standards.
Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited emphasised that safety remains the highest priority at every phase, with all technical and safety norms being rigorously adhered to before the metro opens for public use. Following this inspection, preparations will begin for trial runs, expected to start soon.
Experts highlight that such thorough inspections not only help guarantee smooth and secure metro operations but also build passenger confidence ahead of launch.
