Patna: Residents in numerous parts of Patna are set to experience temporary power outages on Monday as maintenance and operational work are carried out across the city’s electricity network.
Electricity supply will be suspended for varying periods in more than two dozen localities, according to officials. Areas including Banwari Chowk, Karbala, Dargah Road, Katra, Mandi, PKM Mor, Meva Saw Lane and Maur Lane Mishri Tola will face disruptions from 12pm to 3pm.
Church Road near AN College, GD Mishra Path, Masjid Gali and Pensioners Bhawan area are scheduled for a shorter outage between 11am and 12pm. Meanwhile, Alpana Market, Patliputra Golambar and the Vivekanand Park locality, supplied by the Patliputra 1 feeder, will lose power from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
In addition, areas connected to the Kesari Nagar Power Sub Station—including Rajiv Nagar Road Nos. 2 and 4, Kesari Nagar, Text Book Colony, Indrapuri Road Nos. 1 and 2, Vijay Raghav Mandir and NRI Plaza—will experience power cuts between 2pm and 3pm.
Authorities have urged residents to plan accordingly and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
