Power Cuts In 63 Patna Neighbourhoods On Friday; Check Area-Wise Schedule

Maintenance work on transformers and tree trimming near power lines will affect electricity supply across parts of Patna between 7am and 3pm ahead of Durga Puja.

Patna: Electricity supply will be disrupted across 63 neighbourhoods in Patna on Friday as the electricity department carries out maintenance work ahead of Durga Puja. The scheduled outages will affect areas connected to 12 feeders, with power cuts planned at different times between 7am and 3pm.

The maintenance work includes transformer inspections and the trimming of tree branches near power lines to improve the reliability of the electricity network during the festival.

Residents have been advised to check the timings for their localities and make arrangements for essential electrical appliances before the scheduled interruptions.

Power Cuts From 7am To 10am

Electricity supply will remain suspended from 7am to 9am in Shivpuri, Mohanpur, Rajdhani Gas Godown, Gandhi Murti and Board Colony.

From 8am to 10am, the outage will affect North Anandpuri, West Anandpuri, Nalapar, Rajapur, the area around Mehndi Utsav Hall, and the vicinity of Manorama and Monica apartments.

Outages From 10.30am To 2pm

Power supply will be disrupted from 10.30am to 2pm in Mubarakpur, Chamarichak, Balaji Nagar, Vastuvihar, Nargada, Murarchak and Nitish Aahar.

Residents in these localities should charge their mobile phones and other essential devices before the scheduled interruption.

Kazipur, Bhikhna Pahari And Fraser Road

From 11am to 1.30pm, electricity supply will be affected in P Gupta Campus, Happy Gali, Kazipur, PN Anglo School, Dashratha Kothi, Sapna Apartment, Bhikhna Pahari and Bari Path.

During the same period, power supply will also be disrupted from 11am to 1pm near One Mall, Bandar Bagicha and Fraser Road.

Shivpuri And Hazari Singh Lane

Power cuts are scheduled from noon to 2pm in Kailash Path, Shivpuri and Hazari Singh Lane.

In Rampur Road, Dhobi Ghat, Tapovan Colony and Lakshmi Market, the interruption will last from noon to 1pm.

Anandpuri To Balaji Nagar

Electricity supply will be affected from 11am to 2pm in Anandpuri, Jayram Bazar, Nimtala Road, Badalpura, Lal Chowk, Gandhi School Road, Venus Paradise, Vijay Yadav Path, Tribhuvan Mor and Balaji Nagar.

Agrani Homes, Lakhni Bigha, Shivala Mor, Makhdumpur and Sarari are also listed among the affected areas, although separate outage timings have not been specified for these localities.

Gosain Tola And Police Colony

Power supply will remain suspended from 11.30am to 2pm in Gosain Tola, Police Colony, Gola Road T-Point, Sushila Enclave, RD Tower Colony and Tulsi Nagar.

Gola Road Areas To Face Longest Outage

The longest scheduled interruption, lasting four hours, will affect the Gola Road Home Town area, Nexa Showroom and KP Enclave from 11am to 3pm.

Residents in these areas should plan household activities accordingly and make arrangements for water storage and other essential needs before the outage begins.

How Residents Can Prepare

Residents are advised to charge mobile phones, power banks and other essential devices in advance. Those who depend on electric pumps for water should make arrangements before the scheduled cuts.

Essential household tasks that require electricity should also be completed ahead of time. The actual restoration time may vary depending on the progress of maintenance work and local conditions.
