Patna: Patna Smart City Limited celebrated the 79th Independence Day on Friday with enthusiasm and respect at its office premises in Patna. The tricolour was hoisted by Managing Director Animesh Kumar Parashar, who extended warm greetings to all officers and employees. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic spirit as staff members gathered to mark the occasion.
Following the flag hoisting, tributes were offered to the martyrs who gave their lives for India’s freedom. Mr Parashar spoke about the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and linked their vision to the ongoing development work in Patna. He urged that all Smart City projects should be completed as soon as possible to improve the quality of life for residents.
In his address, the Managing Director encouraged everyone to work with honesty, dedication, and a sense of responsibility. He emphasised that every individual has a role to play in taking the country forward and building a stronger, more developed India for the coming generations.
The event saw the participation of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and all other officers and employees. Staff members expressed their commitment to contributing actively towards the progress of the city. The programme ended with a collective pledge to work together for a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable Patna.
